These drop-in replacement deflectors are CNC machined from 6061 aluminum and utilize the factory spark arrestor if desired.. Benefits are more airflow and power as well as a cooler-running saw.

*Proper carburetor tuning is required for the saw to run correctly after installation. Damage to the saw is possible with improper carburetor adjustment.*

I build a few 60cc class saws a season for customers and the Echo is my go to. Can’t be beat value wise both short and long term. Been using the Gear Head Deflector on all of them along with a generous additional port in muffler and removal of the anti-lean jet in carb. The saws run super crisp on 40:1 Sabre and VP 94 Octane. So far, I’ve suffered no melted plastics. If the deflectors had all their edges broke, (which would take a lot of hand finishing or, tumbling in media) they’d get five stars for sure. As an old fabricator, the hard edges are a personal no for me but that’s a personal nit pick and in know detracts from the performance or fit. Will gor sure be ordering more as well as some for the CS 501! Getting ready to tear into a couple of those as well.

My cs-590 has the dukes performance carb, the nikasil jug and piston and performance deflector and it is absolutely a beast now. No comparison to a stock 590
This might be my favorite upgrade to my saw. It looks good and sounds great. 5 stars all the way!
