Chain Specifications
Get Your Specs Right!
PITCH - Measure center-to-center on three rivets, then divide by two. Common sizes are 1/4, 3/8LP, 3/8, .325 and .404
GAUGE- This is the thickness of the drivelink, measured like it is sitting in the bar rail. Common sizes are .043, .050, .058, .063
DRIVE LINK COUNT - This is the real specification that determines length. Simply count the number of drive links of your original chain.
This seems to be very nice. I lkie tha fact that the sprocket tip is greasable. I would buy this again.

Best bang for your buck
These popped up on a Facebook ad, so naturally I was skeptical. I read reviews, and they were all great. So I figured for a less than half the cost of a stihl chain each, what do I have to lose ? I had lost a lot of time apparently. These chains freakin RIP. They honestly put Stihl RS chains to shame. I can get double the cuts between touch ups, and cut faster. At half the cost. I've already turned all my coworkers onto these. Go for it, you won't be disappointed! Just be sure to order the dukes files for the harder material

The Duke’s Chains
I originally ordered a bar and chain combo from Saw Salvage. The chain was crazy sharp out of the package and the bar seemed pretty good for the low price. After cutting nearly two cords of green, storm damaged oak and the chain was still nearly as sharp as new, I decided to order more chains. These chains cut fast and clean. The price can’t be beat and the quality appears to be there as well. Time will tell but impressed so far.
