• Get the performance of the popular CS-620 coil upgrade without the expense. This offset key gives the saw an additional 6 degrees of timing advance. With the factory 590 coil, this mod gives the saw very similar timing numbers to the 620 coil in the actual powerband of the saw.  This does not eliminate the rev limiter of the 590 coil but this normally isn’t a problem since rpms will normally be 12000 or less in the cut (rev limit is 13500 rpms).  

WHEN INSTALLING THIS KEY IT IS IMPERATIVE THAT THE KEY IS INSTALLED PROPERLY IN THE CRANKSHAFT AND THAT THE MATING SURFACES OF THE FLYWHEEL AND CRANKSHAFT ARE PERFECTLY DRY AND CLEAN.  FLYWHEEL MUST BE TORQUED PROPERLY (230–270 kgf•cm, 23–27 N•m, 200–235 in•lbf)  IF YOU SHEAR THE KEY THERE WILL BE NO WARRANTY COVERAGE, AS IT'S A RESULT OF IMPROPER INSTALLTION.  THE ONLY WAY A KEY CAN SHEAR IS WITH FLYWHEEL MOVEMENT.  THE ONLY WAY A FLYWHEEL CAN MOVE IS IMPROPER INSTALL, IMPROPER TORQUE OR DIRTY FRICTION FIT SURFACES.
