Notch quality just what I needed
My Echo CS 600P has been a constant companion for nearly 20 years, but the chain tensioner has always been an issue. Had some odd behavior from the 'ol gal, ordered this part, as the chain simply wasn't tightening as it should (?) - this fixed it for a few runs, then ... back to loosey goosey. Having replaced everything else, got a new after-market bar (I know - but ECHO parts are cost prohibitive for a 20 year old saw) and ... that was it! Who knew? Apparently the old bar had worn down to the point the chain could no longer be tensioned properly, which is something I'd NEVER experienced before. It was also an after-market bar, but ... when you're cutting at dusk and actually see all those sparks flying off? That's your bar wearing down ... I always file off the ridges and keep truckin,' but ... huh. Something learned. All that said, I LOVE the pre-attached lugs / bolts - assuming they don't break or something, even though I have a sack of 24 extra bolts for the old cover, but ... this seems to work for now. I'll have to buy a new saw sooner than later most likely, but if this part limps me through summer 2026, it'll be well worth the investment.
Made my chainsaw feel better than new. So much better than my original plastic one and easier to use.
Fit exactly like it was supposed to.
