Get Your Specs Right!
PITCH - Measure center-to-center on three rivets, then divide by two. Common sizes are 1/4, 3/8LP, 3/8, .325 and .404
GAUGE- This is the thickness of the drivelink, measured like it is sitting in the bar rail. Common sizes are .043, .050, .058, .063
DRIVE LINK COUNT - This is the real specification that determines length. Simply count the number of drive links of your original chain.
Y’all. I don’t remember how I stumbled upon this website, but I am thankful I did! I’ve been doing clearing on the back 5 acres of my property for almost a year now and cannot tell you how often I’ve had to stop and sharpen chains/replace them. I put The Duke’s bar and chain on my Echo CS-3510 a few days ago and spent the entire day cutting without having to sharpen once and it’s still cutting like new. I will be replacing all my bars and chains with The Duke’s now. Thank you for making such an awesome product!
